Limited Edition Sculpture - "In the Round"
Brian Owens' limited edition sculpture tend to center around images of the African diaspora. These are traditional "lost wax" cast bronze sculpture. Edition sizes are quite small, usually ten or less. Compare this to limited edition sculpture by others with edition sizes in the hundreds or even thousands. More are available than are shown here.

Cast Bronze - Private / Corporate Commissions
In this case the client usually wants to honor a person or an event, or place artwork in a specific space in their business or home. These are different from limited edition sculpture in that the edition size is usually only one. Owens develops a design that centers around the client's motives. The reward is sometimes greatest for the client who is willing to work through this process.
